American Idol Contestant Let Go Because of Past

According to TVGuide, Danielle Hayes was cut from Idol due to a past criminal history. Hayes is currently on probation after being cited with driving with a suspended license and possession of marijuana in 2008. Producers would have had to have sought permission for her to have left the state. They did however encourage her to try out again next year.
